An Invitation to Connect, Thrive, and Be Heard in WNC
Western North Carolina friends: if you are living with lung cancer, have survived it, or care for someone who has, I hope you’ll join us for this meaningful luncheon at the NC Arboretum in Asheville on Friday, October 16, from 12–2 PM.
Come connect with fellow survivors, share your story if you wish, and help advocate for lung cancer awareness. Lunch is included for survivors and care partners. I’m honored to serve as Survivor Liaison alongside Dr. Andrew Beardsley, Messino Cancer Centers, and Lee Lee’s Life Lessons Foundation.
I am also still hoping to move forward in the Top Host competition—not simply for a title, but because it could shine a brighter light on the survivors and thrivers of Western North Carolina. Our community deserves to thrive, to play, to be heard, and to know that life after a diagnosis can still hold joy, connection, meaning, and possibility.
If this speaks to you, please register for the luncheon—and please vote daily for me in Top Host: https://tophost.org/2026/lisa-caughman
