About the Team Behind Lee Lee’s Life Lessons
Lee Lee’s Life Lessons was founded following Lisa Caughman’s experience navigating cancer and the belief that support beyond diagnosis matters. What began as a personal journey grew into a mission centered around creating opportunities for connection, joy, and meaningful support for individuals living with and beyond cancer.
Today, the organization is supported by a Board of Directors and collaborators who bring experience across healthcare, education, communications, community leadership, wellbeing, and public service. Together, they help guide the mission, governance, and future growth of Lee Lee’s Life Lessons while remaining committed to compassionate, person-centered support for the cancer survivorship community.
We are grateful for the expertise, lived experience, and generosity of those who continue to shape and strengthen this work.
Our Founder
Lisa Caughman, MSc, HHP, CAPP, is the founder of Lee Lee’s Life Lessons, a positive psychology practitioner, an ordained interfaith minister, and a stage IV cancer survivor.
Following her own experiences navigating cancer, Lisa developed a deep commitment to supporting others through and beyond diagnosis, with a particular interest in connection, wellbeing, and helping people rediscover meaning and joy during difficult periods of life.
What began as a personal journey evolved into a broader mission: creating accessible opportunities for support, reflection, and community for individuals affected by cancer. Through Lee Lee’s Life Lessons, Lisa has worked to develop programs and experiences rooted in compassion, lived experience, positive psychology, and whole-person wellbeing.
Alongside her professional background in care, education, and community support, Lisa’s work is also informed by an interest in spirituality and personal growth, recognizing that healing journeys often extend beyond physical wellbeing alone.
Today, Lisa continues to guide the mission and direction of Lee Lee’s Life Lessons alongside a Board of Directors, collaborators, and community partners, with the shared goal of increasing access to supportive survivorship experiences and helping ensure no one navigates life during or beyond cancer feeling unsupported or alone.
