About Lisa Caughman
A Life Devoted to Flourishing
Lisa Caughman, MSc, HHP, CAPP, is a positive psychology practitioner, metaphysical teacher, speaker, retired school administrator, and cancer survivor devoted to helping individuals rediscover joy, meaning, and vitality after life’s most difficult experiences.
A Stage IV colon cancer survivor thriving more than nine years with no evidence of disease, Lisa understands firsthand how adversity can reshape a life. Rather than simply surviving, she chose to explore what it truly means to flourish.
That question became the foundation of her life’s work.
The Work
Lisa is the founder of Lee Lees Life Lessons and Joyful Collective Studios, and the creator of the Let Us Play Series™—a joy-centered, trauma-informed framework designed to help individuals reconnect with resilience, purpose, and human flourishing after adversity.
Her work bridges positive psychology, metaphysical awareness, spirituality, creativity, and community connection to guide people beyond survival and into lives rich with meaning, vitality, and belonging.
Through speaking, workshops, writing, and facilitated experiences, Lisa invites others to reclaim their inner wisdom and reimagine what is possible for their lives.
The Philosophy
At the heart of Lisa’s work is a simple but powerful belief:
You are not broken.
Even after trauma, illness, loss, or disruption, the human spirit retains an extraordinary capacity for healing, growth, and joy.
Drawing from the science of flourishing—including the PERMA-V framework of positive psychology—alongside spiritual insight and lived experience, Lisa guides individuals and communities in reconnecting with what makes life worth living.
Because joy is not frivolous.
Joy is essential.

An Invitation
The Let Us Play Series™ was created as a reminder that healing does not only happen through effort and endurance.
Sometimes healing begins when we remember how to play.
Let us laugh.
Let us breathe.
Let us create.
Let us remember what it means to be fully alive.
Why This Work Matters Now
We are living in a time when many people are navigating profound disruption—illness, burnout, grief, trauma, uncertainty, and rapid life transitions. For many, the old ways of coping are no longer enough.
What people are seeking now is not simply survival.
They are seeking meaning.
Connection.
Vitality.
A way forward that honors both science and spirit.
This is where the work of the Let Us Play Series™ lives.
Grounded in the science of positive psychology and the deeper wisdom of metaphysical awareness, the Let Us Play Series™ offers a framework for healing that honors the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and community.
It reminds us that flourishing is not reserved for a fortunate few.
It is a human capacity that can be cultivated, even after adversity.
When people are given space to reconnect with joy, creativity, and belonging, something extraordinary happens:
They remember who they are.
They rediscover their strength.
They begin to live again with intention, courage, and hope.
This is the invitation at the heart of my work.
Not simply to survive life’s challenges—
but to rediscover the courage to flourish.
