About Lee Lees Life Lessons
At Lee Lees Life Lessons, we believe healing is not just about surviving—it is about rediscovering joy, connection, and meaning in the midst of life’s most difficult moments.
Lee Lees Life Lessons is a nonprofit advancing a joy-centered, evidence-informed framework for whole-person healing, designed to support individuals and communities in moving beyond survival into renewed vitality, connection, and purpose.
Founded by Lisa Caughman, MSc, HHP, CAPP—a Positive Psychology Practitioner, metaphysicist integrating positive psychology and spiritual transformation, ordained interfaith minister, and stage IV cancer survivor—this work is grounded in both lived experience and academic inquiry. What began as a deeply personal journey has evolved into a structured, scalable approach to healing that bridges science, spirituality, and human experience.
At the heart of this work is the Let Us Play™ framework—an experiential model that integrates principles of positive psychology, creative engagement, and metaphysical awareness. Through guided play, reflection, and relational connection, individuals are invited to move beyond survival-based patterns and reengage with life in ways that are meaningful, embodied, and life-giving.
This approach is informed by research in human flourishing, social connection, and resilience, while also honoring the role of consciousness, intention, and personal transformation in the healing process. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, Let Us Play™ supports a shift in how individuals experience themselves and their lives—opening space for new meaning, expanded awareness, and authentic engagement.
Lisa’s participation in the Gross Global Happiness Summit affirmed the global relevance of this work: that joy is not a luxury in healing—it is essential. Today, Lee Lees Life Lessons stands at the intersection of well-being science and compassionate, real-world application, contributing to a broader movement that recognizes healing as both an individual and collective experience.
Through workshops, support gatherings, retreats, and facilitator training, Lee Lees Life Lessons serves cancer survivors, trauma survivors, caregivers, and leaders seeking a more integrated and life-affirming path forward.
This is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about awakening what is still possible.
Because within each of us, there is more than survival—
There is a life waiting to be lived with curiosity, with courage… and yes, with play.
