Dr. Stacia Harris

I’m a strategic communications leader with over a decade of experience in higher and public education, specializing in crafting authentic, compelling stories that inform and inspire diverse audiences. For the past 11 years, I have been the primary social media manager for my organization and understand the importance of making data driven decisions and pushing engaging content to organically grow an audience. As Director of Marketing Communications for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Clemson University, I lead internal and external communications, develop multimedia content, strengthen brand visibility, and manage executive thought leadership. Previously, I led crisis communications and community engagement efforts for Buncombe County Schools, building trust and elevating the district’s reputation. With a foundation in broadcast journalism, I bring a unique ability to translate complex topics into clear, impactful narratives that advance an organization’s mission and influence its audience. In my spare time, I work in my garden and care for my Great Dane, rescue cat, and backyard flock of chickens!
