With nearly two decades in education as a teacher and administrator, Katy Wyatt brings both insight and intention to her role on the board. Katy was drawn to the organization's mission of creating a supportive, empowering space for individuals navigating cancer treatment or recovery. Her professional background also includes time as a marketing director for a private-sector business, where she cultivated skills in communication, outreach, and community engagement — strengths she brings to her board service today.  A lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, Katy shares her home with her husband and their three boys, where they work together on the family’s cattle farm — a life that keeps her grounded in hard work, community, and connection. As the organization evolves, she looks forward to deepening her involvement by helping lead events and advancing its educational reach — always with a focus on empathy, encouragement, and shared strength.
