Caitlyn Casson
Caitlyn Casson is a New York City-based movement educator, performing artist, and well-being specialist with over a decade of experience in arts education, international program development, and holistic wellness. Her interdisciplinary work blends movement, mindfulness, and applied positive psychology to support personal transformation and community growth.
Caitlyn has performed and taught globally at institutions and festivals such as The Place in London, Fondation des États-Unis in Paris, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires, and the Ubumuntu Arts Festival in Kigali. Since 2013, she has served as a Teacher Training Specialist with MindLeaps, a nonprofit that uses dance and education to empower at-risk youth across East and West Africa and Eastern Europe. Her work includes curriculum design, trainer mentorship, and international capacity-building.
She is the founder of Expand Positive Movement, a wellness initiative that integrates embodied practices with science-backed tools from positive psychology to build resilience. Caitlyn brings a deep passion for the arts, empowerment, and sustainable impact to her work as a board member and community leader.
